Reach-The amazing song

It was way back in 1996-1997 when i heard this song first. I purchased one of those 'Now thats what I call music' Cassette. Its one of those songs which got into my mind/body/brain/soul/heart etc etc "in fact you could tell" into my life, at the very first time i listened to.
From then this song has become an integral part of my life ans success. This song has been a never ending source of inspiration.
Before every exam, every venture, every time i am low, every time i need a boosting... i turn to this song. I cant imagine how many time i have listened to this song. Reach was the 1996 Atlanta Olympics theme song. (Any Athlete could turn to this song for inspiration event today, and the good thing is, it does not contain any WADA banned stuffs :)).
The Lyrics
"Some dreams live on in time, forever
Those dreams, you want with all your heart
And I'll do whatever it takes
Follow through with the promise I made
Put it all on the line
What I hoped for at last would be mine

If I could reach, higher
Just for one moment touch the sky
From that one moment in my life
I'm gonna be stronger
Know that I've tried my very best
Put my spirit to the test
If I could reach

Some days are meant to be remembered
Those days we rise above the stars
So I'll go the distance this time
Seeing more the higher I climb
That the more I believe

All the more that this dream will be mine"

Every line is do well constructed, so meaningful that it works wonders. The song works, it has worked for me always. I m sure it will continue to work.
Thanks to Gloria Estephan for giving this wonderful song.

Being Junz

I thought a lot about starting a blog. There were few encouragements from very dear people to start writing again. But as the cliched line goes 'Everything has its time' I decided to start today. And this is my first post . Writing used to be easy years ago. But the 'today's worlds comforts have forced most of us to take exile from this habit. Writing have given way to texting, which has rsultd in in dis knd of prblms to most ppl. Little do they realise that its a problem. Like I spelled realized instead of realised. Queens English is overtaken by txt English. I don't realise that i am making myself a machine. We relay on technologies a lot and this has become a over dependence and very soon (or already) will become slavery. If MS office has some bugs, my emails will go out with errors. But i wouldnt realise that i made several typos (or rather typographical errors). I was watching this funny movie Grown ups and a scene where the boys were texting their nanny for hot chocolate made me realise that, vocal conversational skills are on its decline. its much easier to comment on a picture or write on someones wall. You have the mask provided by the technology. Technology has built several safe cabins for us and we dont need to be worried about the frowning face of the other guy. An emoticon is all you need to express your feeling easily. Instead of telling someone that ' I am really happy for you' a smily will do.
Well all i wanted to convey was, preserve the old habits (I should rather have said, sustain the good old habits or rather the old good habits)
